Studentprojekt Technical Artist Ett gäng studenter från programmet Technical Artist och Civilingenjörsprogrammet i spel och programvaruteknik har valt att med den här trailern redovisa sin spelidé i kursen Grunder i Spelutveckling. I kursen ska studenterna teoretisk presentera sin idé kring spelet, vem det är tänkt för, vad det ska gå ut på, vilken budget som finns, marknadsföring av spelet med mera. Alltså en kurs i produktionen av ett dataspel. Tillsammans med filmen har gruppen också redovisat sina fakta i text. Filmen har Fabian Åkesson gjort, student på programmet Technical Artist.

The game is an RTS game that involves you've been kicked out of the garden of eden and will try to get back into. At the gate are two guards that guard the entrance. You start the game with a human and a limited number of resources. Now you simply collect resources, build more houses, gather more resources, create more people and to end when you have a large enough army, attacking guards and re-occupy the garden of eden. The game uses the A * and finite state machines, the track is built with a custom-made level editor.

This is a game made by the first batch of students at the digital games education at blekinge institute of technology. The games was made in ten weeks in a production course in the second year. Having five different characters with their own especially customised hovercrafts to race with, you are sure to find one that fits your liking. In addition to this every character has their own track created especially for them. The environment varies from a paradise lagoon to a race track on the moon. This games was made in 2004 by a student at Blekinge Institute of Technology in Karlshamn. A classic shmup with 2d gameplay and 3d graphics. Made in my spare time. The game includes an original scoring system where the player gets points based on the number of bullets on screen. Everytime the player powers up the enemies shoots more and faster bullets. The game will take place in the skies above a series of beautiful tropical islands with white beaches, palm trees and clear blue water. The visual style of the game is heavily inspired by the aesthetics of the 1920s through the 1940s aeroplanes, architecture and military machines, all represented in a cartoon style.

Hope and Despair is a city similator where you shall get you citizens to be happy instead of unhappy. To do that you have three buildings that you can build: a house, work building and joy bulding. To get a citizen to be happy when he spawns from the house he needs to go in a cycle, to be able to work and then to have some fun bu if this cycle is broken. For example if he got two works or two joybuldings he will get unhappy aswell. The work building and the joy bulding have two auras that effect the house and the auras have diffrent sizes. When you watch a horror-movie, you always get angry at the really stupid characters. This time, you can finally kill them the way they deserve. You take control of the evil spirit inside Rainbow manor, and get to scare the people inside by using different tricks, and make them walk to your traps. The Factory is a problem solving game that can be described as a drama/comedy. Its a school project developed by 3 designers, 2 sound & music composers and 1 graphic artist (everyone is listed above). We first set out to make a story deep horror game. But discovered soon that we had to short of a time to execute this so we decided to add a comedy to lighten it up a bit, also its just who we are.
